I’m a native of Nashville, TN. and I love my hometown. In 2004 we moved to Wilmington, NC, a place that holds a very special place in my heart. I along with my husband Dylan and our son Caleb lived there for three years before moving back to Nashville to be close to our family.

Since 1999, I’ve been an administrative assistant and I absolutely love it. Every day brings a new challenge and opportunity for troubleshooting. No day is the same as the one before. I get to help people and I can leave my work at work.

I’ve worked for a private dining club in their business office, a non-profit organization and a public relations firm. I’ve also enjoyed a couple of years as a temp. Currently I hold an executive assistant position with a large corporation headquartered in downtown Nashville. Each place I have been has taught me not only how to be a better assistant, but I’ve also learned about life from each company’s perspective, from small business to non-profit to corporate culture.

In addition to the hats I wear as an assistant, wife and mother, I’m also a part-time student at Nashville State Community College majoring in Visual Communications – Web Design. Oh, and I blog about my creative side and my adventures in sewing, crafting and photography at MadeByGeorgia.com.
